Tom Wille, Vice President Tom Willie has been involved in start-ups for most of his career. His extensive pet experience started with Banfield where he oversaw Petsmart’s transition from Vet Smart to Banfield in his territory. Additional pet startups and experience include Peak Pet Care, Best Friends Pet Care, and Wagly, where as a member of the initial Wagly team, he acquired several pet facilities. In his most recent position, Tom reported directly to the CEO as Organizational Support for the company in various capacities. Tom brings 30+ years of Operational and Executive Management to the startup team of Destination Pet.

Kim Young, Vice President of Operations From growing up on a farm to her current role at Destination Pet, Kim has spent her life around animals. She has over 30 years of experience in pet boarding, and worked with American Pet Motels, one of the first facilities to offer pets a resort experience away from home. She has managed facilities that have boarded tens of thousands of pets each year, all with the goal of providing pets with a home away from home. Kim’s career progressed as she accepted a position with Wagly in 2015 and led her hand chosen team through several acquisitions in both Veterinary and Pet Care overseeing all Operations. Kim now lends her extensive pet care talents to Destination Pet. Kim’s pet family includes Ginger (a hound mix), and Bailey (a miniature Australian Shepherd).

Mike Williams, Vice President, Business Development Mike Williams brings his 15 years of experience in the area of new business development, construction and real estate management. He brings his strong background to the company which includes previously starting a pet care company, along with the knowledge running all aspects of new construction, real estate, and long-term strategic planning. Prior to joining Destination Pet, Mike was the Vice President of Real Estate & Development for a national pet services company where he managed strategic planning for the business. As part of his role, Mr. Williams led a team that was responsible for all new site selections dictating where the company would expand into the markets. The projects being handled ranged from 10,000 square feet to 18,000 square feet with costs in the 3 million plus range.

Danielle Palmer, Director of Operations Danielle Palmer has managed all facets of the pet care industry throughout the country for the last 18 years. Growing up in Southern New Jersey with her Springer Spaniel, Piccadilly, she studied Animal Science at Rutgers University to enhance her life-long love of pets. Danielle specializes in multi-unit Operations with an acute focus on employee training and development, and believes in motivation through empowerment.  She still resides in New Jersey with her Great Pyrenees entourage.
